How To Get A Real Estate License In South Carolina

 The South Carolina Real Estate Commission (SCREC) has laid down clear guidelines on how to get a real estate license in South Carolina. Given in this post are the various steps to follow in this regard.



  •        Ensure that you are at least 18 years old and a citizen of the USA. The minimum educational requirement to apply for a license is a high school diploma.
  •         Complete the 90-hour South Carolina real estate license course consisting of 2 Units. They are Unit I: Sales Course: Real Estate Principles and Practices (60 hours) and Unit II: Advanced Real Estate Principles Course: Advanced Real Estate Concepts and Topics (30 hours).
  •     Select a course that is approved by SCREC to be counted as completing pre-licensing coursework to be eligible for a real estate license in South Carolina.
